  • Julie Elion

    Founder and Performance Coach

    Julie Elion has developed one of the premier sport psychology practices in the professional golf world. She has worked with half of the top 10 earners of all time, representing over $500m in career earnings, 150 PGA Tour wins, and 25 Major Championship wins over the course of her 25-year career.

    As well as working extensively with golfers, Julie also provides mental coaching for business executives, athletes, and teams of other sports on both the professional and collegiate level, including NBA, NFL, MLB, WNBA, and LPGA athletes.

  • Rick Marik

    Performance Coach and Therapist

    Rich is a performance coach at CAPE. He is a skilled player having been the #1 ranked junior in the country, having won the US Junior Amateur and captaining the Stanford golf team. He is a Class A PGA Professional, has a masters in counseling psychology with an emphasis in depth psychology and extensive training in meditation and mindfulness.

    Most recently, Rich was the National Director of Instruction for Nike Golf Schools for 20 years and is a 'top 50' US Kids Master Junior Golf Instructor. Rich has a wealth of talent and experience coaching juniors, college athletes and professionals on the mental game as he draws from his learnings as a counselor, player and instructor.

    Rich formally joined the Cape team in 2023 and is available for coaching golfers ranging from junior to professionals.

  • Dr. Matt Sacks

    Performance Coach and Therapist

    With over 20 years in the field of psychology, Dr. Sacks is a clinical psychologist with an expertise in stress management and performance enhancement. Dr. Sacks uses Cognitive-Behavioral and Mindfulness approaches to help athletes manage stress and reach their peak performance levels.

    Dr. Sacks has previously worked with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), the 316th Security Forces Group, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD), and the 316th Operations Group at Joint Base Andrews. He has leveraged his knowledge of peak mental health performance for atai Life Sciences, where he developed digital therapeutics for participants in psychedelic medicine clinical trials.

    Additionally, Dr. Sacks serves as the Mental Health Advisor for the Florida Panthers Warriors, a non-profit organization that supports military veterans to play hockey in a supportive, therapeutic environment.

  • Noah Elion

    CEO

    Noah Elion helps run his mom’s business. Noah was featured on the 2023 Forbes 30 under 30 list and is the Founder and CEO of Lovd.com. Noah grew up in the world of sports psychology, being trained and raised by his mother and CAPE founder, Julie. Noah graduated from Tufts University and lives in Brooklyn, NY.

  • Dr. Rick Elion

    Chief Medical Director and Performance Coach

    Rick has worked with PGA Tour, MLB and top junior golfers for over 20 years. As a board-certified physician and trained counselor, Rick has a wide range of skills and experience, including integrative medicine to optimize physical performance through a blend of Western and Eastern medicine and modern principles of functional medicine and optimized nutrition. He also is trained in hypnosis, counseling, and biofeedback which can be used to optimize athletes getting in the zone and being their best. Rick’s work is focused on training men and women to tune their nervous systems to find their best version of balance and focus.

  • Kris Tschetter

    Former LPGA Golfer and Performance Coach

    Kris Tschetter has been a professional golfer for 25+ years. She played on the LPGA tour from 1988 until 2011 and now plays on the Legends tour. Kris has experienced the highs and lows of sport first hand and learned from many of the great players. She still holds the low 9-hole record in the British Open for shooting 8 under on the back nine of Royal Birkdale.

    Kris graduated from TCU in 1987. While living in Ft. Worth she had the unique opportunity to spend time with Ben Hogan. He took her under his wing and mentored her in the final decade of his life which she recounted in her book, Mr. Hogan the Man I Knew.

  • Mallory Blackwelder

    Former LPGA Golfer and CAPE Organizer

    Mallory Blackwelder Trudeau is a professional golfer who formerly competed on the LPGA Tour, Ladies European Tour, and Symetra Tour from 2010-2015. She played collegiate golf at The University of Florida from 2005-07, and the University of Kentucky from 2007-09 where she graduated with a degree in marketing. Following her professional golf career, she worked as a player manager for Fairwhay Management, a female-owned, boutique sports marketing agency specializing in the golf industry. She currently resides in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband, PGA TOUR caddie, Julien Trudeau, and their 4-year-old daughter.

  • Drake Deitch

    Staff Therapist and Performance Coach

    Drake Deitch is a highly trained and experienced Staff Therapist dedicated to helping individuals improve their mental health and well-being. With a strong background in psychology and counseling, Drake is well-equipped to provide a wide range of mental health services.

    With a broad education and experience, Drake can provide a unique perspective on mental health and has developed a multi-disciplinary approach. He utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Theory to guide his work. CBT is a talk therapy that helps an individual change negative thinking and behavior patterns. At the same time, Family Systems Theory is a perspective that looks at the individual as part of a more extensive system, in this case, the family unit, and how each member of the system interacts and affects the other.

  • Hana Elion

    Hana Elion is a performance coach at CAPE specializing in artistic performance and public speaking.

    With over 10 years of work experience in the music industry, Hana has gained ample experience working with artists, songwriters, managers, and record label executives, helping them to find their creative voice and overcome obstacles at work and beyond. She has taught at Wesleyan University, been a guest speaker at NYU discussing the trials and tribulations of a career in the arts, and appeared on Stephen Colbert and CBS. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

    Hana formally joined the CAPE team in 2023 and is available for coaching musicians, artists and/or anyone with a relationship to the entertainment industry.
